Dan Korus has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dan started their career in 2016 as a Water Meter Specialist Assistant at Utility Management Solutions LLC, where they assembled water meter transmitter systems and performed testing. In 2016, they also worked at the University of Minnesota as a CSE Peer Leader, managing groups of incoming freshman and assisting with registration and campus tours. In 2018, they had internships at Integer Holdings Corp. and Milestone AV Technologies, where they focused on product development engineering and industrial engineering respectively. At Integer Holdings Corp., they created process maps and implemented lean thinking in inventory and storage areas. At Milestone AV Technologies, they designed assembly room layouts and created standard operating procedures. In 2019, they worked as an Industrial Engineering Co-op Student at Vaddio, where they implemented lean tools and designed assembly processes. Dan then joined Entegris in 2020 as a Manufacturing Engineer I. In 2022, they interned at Abbott as a Human Factors Engineering Intern, providing support to various teams and completing human factors deliverables. Currently, they are working at Minnetronix, Inc. as a Usability Engineer II.
Dan Korus completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 2015 to 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics at the same university from 2020 to 2022.
