Ryan Fedie

Ryan Fedie has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. Ryan currently holds the position of Vice President Energy Resources & Services at Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Energy Services in the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative, Ryan worked at Bonneville Power Administration as the Deputy VP/Senior Strategist, Energy Efficiency & Customer Solutions, from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they led strategy, policy, operations, and change management for the EE & DER department. Ryan also held the position of Integrated Grid & System Planning lead, Transmission Planning from 2016 to 2018, where they successfully executed alternatives to a transmission build and drove culture change. Additionally, they served as the Engineering Manager/Director, Energy Efficiency & Customer Solutions from 2008 to 2016, leading a nationally recognized engineering department and doubling the organization's goals, budget, and staff.

Before their tenure at Bonneville Power Administration, Ryan served as an Engineering Manager at Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. from 2006 to 2008, where they built the engineering team for utility, buildings, and customer energy programs. Prior to that, they worked as an Energy Engineer at Michaels Engineering from 2003 to 2006, delivering energy, industrial, and building design consulting for utilities nationwide. Ryan began their career as a Building Design Engineer at Apex Engineering, Inc. from 2000 to 2002.
