Bjorn Arneson is an experienced legislative analyst at the Minnesota Senate since December 2012, where nonpartisan support is provided to E-12 Finance and Policy committees and all Senate members, along with modeling and analyzing education revenues, aids, and levies. Prior to this role, Bjorn worked as a health policy analyst at Optum, conducting research on sustainable health communities from April to December 2012. As an assistant program director for the Horizons Program at the University of Minnesota from September 2009 to August 2011, support was provided in delivering leadership development initiatives to rural, low-income communities. Bjorn also managed administrative and operational functions as the general manager of the National Lutheran Choir from August 2004 to August 2007, overseeing concert events and tours. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy in Public Finance from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Augustana University (SD).
