Rachelle McCord

Director at Minnesota Opera

Rachelle McCord is the current Director at Minnesota Opera. Rachelle has a long and varied work history, starting with an internship as an Information Technology Business Analyst Intern at 3M in 2005. There, they collaborated with internal clients to develop and refine Six Sigma pricing processes. Rachelle also gathered high-level requirements from multiple divisions to assess functionality needs to be implemented into a global pricing application.

In their previous position as an Account Manager at Federal National Services, they were responsible for managing a team of customer service representatives. Rachelle oversaw daily operations, including staff training and development, quality assurance, and process improvement.

Before that, they were an MIS/LAN Administration Intern at Delon Hampton & Associates (PMC). In this role, they were responsible for providing technical support for the company’s computer network and assisting with the implementation of new software applications.

McCord has a long history of working in various positions in the information technology field. Her experience and knowledge in this area has been instrumental in their current role as Director at Minnesota Opera.

Rachelle McCord has a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Benedict College and a Master's in Information Management from the University of Maryland. Rachelle also has certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from 3M and Columbia Business School Executive Education in Building & Leading Effective Teams.
