Laura Martin, MA, CAPM, CSM, currently serves as Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Securian Financial, where leadership involves guiding a team of portfolio, program, project, and change managers in enhancing organizational focus on high-value work through data-driven recommendations. With a strong background in project management, Laura has developed and executed large-scale programs and implemented portfolio management within various business lines. Previous roles at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities included Project Manager/Business Analyst, where dynamic leadership and effective facilitation were key, as well as a position as One Stop Counselor. Earlier experience as a Financial Aid Advisor at Brown College and Sales Coordinator at Northland Business Systems rounded out Laura's diverse professional background. Laura holds a Master of Arts in IT Leadership from The College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
