Scotty Monten is an experienced audio visual technician and creative director currently working at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since September 2017 and at Knockinā€™ On Higher Doors since November 2023. Monten has served as an audio engineer at Slamhammer and has played a key role as a creator for the 'Space Tiger Samurai' music animation series. Additional roles include graphics, video, and audio work at Studio Monten, alongside stage technician responsibilities at First Avenue & the 7th St. Entry. From 2017 to 2020, Monten was the lead guitarist for Jaedyn James and has experience in the record department and live sound engineering at Electric Fetus. Monten holds a continued education degree in graphic design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
