Eli Walters has a diverse work experience in customer support, analytics, technical support, and teaching. From 2007 to the present, Eli worked at Minitab, starting as a Technical Support Specialist and eventually becoming a Manager of Customer Support. Prior to this, Eli worked as an Instructor at Penn State University from 2003 to 2007. From 2014 to 2020, Eli also worked as an Independent Contractor, specializing in teaching statistics. In 2020, Eli returned to Penn State University as an Instructor.

Eli Walters began their education at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School, where they attended from 1994 to 1997. After completing their high school education, they pursued higher studies at Messiah University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Following this, Eli attended Penn State University from 2001 to 2003, earning a Master's Degree in Statistics. Later, they enrolled at Bethel Seminary of the East from 2005 to 2012, where they acquired a Master's Degree in Theological Studies.
