Adwa AlArifi serves as the Assistant Minister for Sport Affairs and Deputy Minister for Planning & Development at the Ministry of Sport since March 2019, while also holding the position of Investments General Manager. Additionally, Adwa is a Board Member of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and previously served on the Board of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation from February 2018 to September 2021. Adwa has a strong background in grassroots sports analysis and strategy implementation, particularly related to female fitness and sports in Saudi Arabia, and is a founder of both the Riyadh Female Football Committee and AlYamamah Female Football Club. Prior experience includes a consultant role at Portas Consulting and fund management at Saudi Fransi Capital. Adwa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Al Yamamah University.
