Dr. Mejdal Alqahtani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in analytics, performance management, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Analytics and Performance Management at a confidential government organization since November 2020, Dr. Alqahtani also holds the position of Artificial Intelligence Consultant at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia since December 2023. Additionally, Dr. Alqahtani contributes as a board member to various committees, including the National Innovation & Regulatory Sandbox Committee and the Saudi Society for Data Science (SSDS). An academic leader, Dr. Alqahtani has been affiliated with King Saud University since 2011, where roles include Vice President of the innovation unit for STEM and Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering department. Dr. Alqahtani's educational background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University, along with multiple master's degrees and executive programs from esteemed institutions, including Harvard Business School.
