Abdurahman Alqahtani is a seasoned health promotion advisor currently serving at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia since March 2020 and at the National Committee for Narcotics Control since April 2018. Alqahtani's experience includes past roles as General Secretary at the Consumer Protection Association and Director of the Health Communication Department at the Ministry of Health from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, Alqahtani was Secretary-General of the Health Communication Society and Director of Preventive Affairs at the Directorate General of School Health, where Alqahtani coordinated the UNESCO FRESH Initiative. Alqahtani holds a Master's degree in Health Promotion from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from King Saud University.
