Keifa Witter is an experienced mental health social worker currently with the Ministry of Health Jamaica since March 2018. In addition to this role, Keifa has been involved with the Joy Town Foundation as an Assistant Project Officer, Assistant Teacher, and Assistant Social Worker since September 2015. Previously, Keifa worked as a Case Manager at the Southern Regional Health Authority from January 2017 to January 2018 and as a Victim Services Clerk at the Victim Services Division from April 2015 to September 2015. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Clerk of Courts at the Resident Magistrates Court and volunteering at the NCU Community Counselling and Restorative Justice Centre. Keifa's foundational skills were developed during a practicum with the Social Development Commission, focusing on counseling and educational sessions. Keifa holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Northern Caribbean University, earned between 2007 and 2012.
