Sahel Alrousan currently serves as a Senior Economic Advisor at the Ministry of Finance in the UAE, where responsibilities include macroeconomic research, debt sustainability analysis, revenue and expenditure planning, tax policy analysis, and providing training support since November 2011. Previously, Alrousan held positions as an Economic Expert focusing on regional economic relations and integration among GCC countries, and as an Economic Advisor at the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With a robust academic background, Alrousan has contributed as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ajman University of Science and Technology, and has held administrative roles such as Deputy Dean and Manager of the Training and Continuing Education Center. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, and advanced programs at Saïd Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and a current course at the London School of Economics.
