Brian Kanzira is a seasoned economist with extensive experience, currently serving as a Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development since September 2017. Prior roles include Economist at the same ministry, Tax Consultant at Protax Consulting Uganda Limited, and Field Officer at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics. Academic qualifications consist of a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University, a Master of Public Policy & Administration from Seoul National University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation from the East Africa School of Taxation, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.
