Sopheak Ban is a Young Economist at the Ministry of Economy and Finance since April 2020, bringing expertise gained through previous roles as an Assurance Auditor at KPMG Cambodia from October 2019 to March 2020 and as a Political-Economic Intern for the U.S. Department of State in 2018, where responsibilities included economic news reporting and local company outreach. Sopheak holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on International Economics from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (2015-2019) and a Diploma in Critical Thinking, Public Speaking and Debate, and Academic Writing and Research from the Australian Centre for Education (2016-2017).
