Inna Koning is an experienced policy advisor with a strong background in the primary sector and immigration policy. Currently serving as Principal Advisor - Primary Sector Policy at the Ministry for Primary Industries since August 2023, Inna has held multiple principal advisory roles within various ministries, focusing on dairy regulation, resource markets policy, and employment standards. Previous positions include Principal Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Ministry for Primary Industries, as well as a Senior Analyst role at the Commerce Commission. Inna holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours in Economics and Finance from The University of Waikato, completed between 1998 and 2001.
