Vincent Steinmetz currently serves as Président de la section 'Formation recherche et metiers' au CGAAER at the Ministère de l'Agriculture et de la Souveraineté alimentaire since September 2023. Previously, Vincent has been involved with the Conseil général de l’alimentation, de l’agriculture et des espaces ruraux from 2017 to the present. Vincent held the position of Director at ID Champagne-Ardenne from 2014 to 2016 and served as Director at CARINNA from April 2007 to 2014. Additionally, Vincent was the General Representative at Europol'Agro between 1999 and 2007 and worked as a Research Engineer and Project Manager at INRAE from 1993 to 1999. Vincent's educational background includes Master's degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Forestry from ENGREF and Biological and Agricultural Engineering from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Master's degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Water Management from Ecole nationale du Génie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement de Strasbourg.
