Head Of Product at Miniclip

Mário Silva has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Mário started their career as a Marketing Consultant and later worked as a Management and Strategy Consultant at IJC - ISCTE Junior Consulting from December 2010 to September 2011.

In 2011, Mário became a Teaching Assistant in Marketing at ISCTE Business School, where they gained experience in the education sector.

From 2013 to 2019, Mário worked at Portugal Telecom, first as a Product Manager for Over-The-Top & On-Demand Contents and then as a Product Manager for MEO Pay-TV Content and Interactive Services. During this time, they gained expertise in the telecom industry and product management.

In 2016, Mário joined Miniclip as a Product Manager/Producer. Mário progressed to the role of Senior Product Manager from March 2019 to August 2021, where they contributed to the success of Miniclip's games.

Mário later took on the role of Lead Product Manager from May 2021 to June 2022, where they led a team of product managers and played a significant role in defining the product vision, improving monetization strategies, and coordinating production processes.

Currently, Mário serves as the Head of Product for Miniclip Netherlands, responsible for creating new hits in the gaming market. Mário leads and coaches product managers and game designers, negotiates with stakeholders and executives, and drives the overall product portfolio's vision for the upcoming years.

Mário Silva pursued their education at various institutions. Mário first attended ISCTE Business School, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Marketing from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Mário took part in a summer study course in Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in 2010. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner designation from the Scrum Alliance in April 2017.
