Jacqueline Hochheiser has a diverse work experience which includes roles in communications, writing, and the arts. Jacqueline worked as a Communications Specialist and intern at Mini-Circuits, where they gained valuable experience in communication strategies and practices. In addition, they pursued a personal project as a novelist, completing a young adult science fiction/fantasy novel and currently editing it for publication.
Hochheiser also worked as a Groom at Knoll Farm, where they worked with horses to create emotional and environmental identification for their novel. Jacqueline was responsible for the care, equitation, and scheduling of the horses, demonstrating their ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
During their time at Dickinson College, Hochheiser served as an Exhibited Author in the English Department, composing an independent piece of critical writing that analyzed the female body in Japanese literature through a feminist lens. Jacqueline also contributed as an Exhibition Contributor and Curator at The Trout Gallery, researching and publishing influential works on Lida Moser, designing professional quality exhibitions, and compiling Moser's photographs for exhibitions and catalogues.
Hochheiser gained teaching experience as a Teaching and Planning Assistant at The Heckscher Museum of Art, organizing and teaching lesson plans for students in the art program while also supervising classroom environments. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at the Long Island Maritime Museum, where they photographed antique artifacts, researched their historical background, and composed historical summaries.
