Ramit Surana

Product Development Lead at Minfy

Ramit Surana has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting from 2013, they worked as an Intern Engineer at Texas Instruments, where they gained experience working on MSP430. In 2015, they interned at The Remote Lab as a DevOps intern and Core Contributor, where they initiated and developed a worldwide DevOps community and published case studies. In 2017, they interned at IBM's Global Business Services, conducting research and development on AWS Cloud-based DevOps software architecture. Ramit also documented a new microservices-based continuous delivery pipeline. Ramit then worked as a Cloud Engineer at REAN Cloud, where they integrated existing systems with AWS Cognito for authentication and created automated workflows using Jenkins. In 2018, they joined Hitachi Vantara as a Cloud Engineer, supporting the Digital Insights team with application development and DevOps activities. Ramit also worked with Fortune 500 client-side companies and was responsible for maintaining and improving infrastructure with data science tools. Ramit also briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Digital Product School by UnternehmerTUM before joining their current company, Minfy, in 2021. At Minfy, they initially served as a Site Reliability Engineer before being promoted to Lead Software & ML Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Product Development Lead at Minfy.

Ramit Surana completed their Master's degree in Data Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani from 2013 to 2017.
