Jen Cookson is an experienced environmental professional with a strong focus on approvals and compliance in the resources sector. Currently serving as Approvals Manager - Operations at Mineral Resources Limited since June 2023, previous roles include Manager Environment and Community at Trigg Mining, where responsibilities encompassed environmental and community compliance alongside ESG strategy development. Prior positions also include Senior Environmental Advisor at Mineral Resources Limited and Fortescue Metals Group Limited, where expertise in environmental approvals was honed. A background at the Western Australian Department of Environment and Conservation further solidified capabilities in compliance auditing and policy development. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University and additional certifications in Work Health and Safety and as a NORM Technician.
