Ruben Perez is an experienced ICT professional currently serving as the ICT Operations Lead at First Quantum Minerals LTD since May 2017 and as the IT Supervisor at Minera Panama since July 2008. At First Quantum Minerals, Ruben leads ICT operations, designs and deploys organizational structures for improved support, and implements operational policies while reporting to senior management. Previously, as an IT Coordinator at Minera Panama, Ruben managed a growing network infrastructure, transitioning from static routes to dynamic protocols and establishing a robust wireless network. Ruben's career began at Tecnasa as an IT Administrator and at Dell in technical support for enterprise customers. Ruben holds degrees from institutions including MIT Professional Education, Universidad Latina de Panamá, Universidad de Panama, and Instituto Justo Arosemena.
