Stephen Schneider is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in drug substance development and chemistry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Drug Substance Development at MindMed since April 2023, Stephen previously held roles as Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls at Lusaris Therapeutics and Senior Director of Drug Substance at MindMed. With a strong background in chemical development, leadership positions include Senior Director at G1 Therapeutics and Executive Director at Cempra Pharmaceuticals. Stephen's expertise includes managing complex projects from IND submissions to clinical trial preparations, as well as leading significant initiatives in process development and GMP production for various drug candidates throughout a career that began after earning a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
