Keith Symington possesses extensive expertise in sustainable fisheries management and marine conservation, currently serving as an International Expert for the Vietnam Yellowfin Tuna Fisheries Improvement Project at the World Wildlife Fund since January 2019. Responsibilities include managing operations related to industry partnerships, developing MSC Pre-assessments, and implementing traceability systems. As a Technical Advisor for the Minderoo Foundation and IUCN, Keith provides strategic guidance on fisheries policies and conservation efforts in Vietnam. Past roles include consulting for The World Bank, where strategic inputs for sustainable fisheries development were provided, and significant contributions to WWF's regional strategies for fisheries transformation in the Asia Pacific. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Toronto and completed graduate studies in Geography at The University of British Columbia.
