Emma Jelley's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies. Emma founded Jelleyworks in 2019, where they served as a Coach and facilitated events and group discussions. In 2020, they became a member of Nordic Leadership Network. In 2021, they joined Crafty Counsel as a Community Ambassador, where they moderated group conversations with legal practitioners on various topics. Emma also worked as an Associate Coach at Mindbeat and Director and Coach at Bright Blu Dot starting in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Emma Jelley also served as a member of the research support group at Väestöliitto | Family Federation of Finland, where they contributed to policy formation related to demographic aging. Additionally, they were a member of Systems Change Finland from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Advisor at Fondia Oyj, providing outsourced legal services to clients. Prior to that, Emma served as General Counsel at Onfido, where they built and led the legal function and managed compliance. Emma started their career at Google in 2007 as General Counsel for UK & Ireland, handling legal affairs and providing advice on deals and product matters in the EMEA region.

Emma Jelley (she/her) has a diverse education history. Emma pursued their education in various fields and obtained different degrees and certifications over the years.

In 1995, Emma attended King's College London and earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law. Emma continued their legal studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Master's degree in French Law (Maitrise).

In 2003, Emma enrolled at the University of Bristol and completed a diploma in Intellectual Property Law (IP diploma) in the same year. Later, in 2008, they attended the University of Surrey and pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development, focusing on Environmental Engineering.

Moving forward to more recent years, Emma went to Henley Business School in 2019 and 2020 to obtain The Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching. This coaching program is worth noting as it is the first triple-accredited coaching program (AC, ICF, EMCC) in Finland.

In 2021, Emma expanded their coaching expertise by attending the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, where they obtained a Certificate in Solution Focused Brief Coaching. Additionally, at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development, they completed a course called "Essentials of Leading Change" in the same year, which focused on organizational change.

Emma's additional certifications include being an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation, a Firework Licensed Career Coach by Firework Career Coaching, and a Certified Trainer in the Global Dexterity Method by Personal Change Systems LLC.

Other notable certifications earned by Emma include being a Fellow of The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), a SeriousWork Certified Facilitator (LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method), and obtaining Mental Health Aware certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.

Furthermore, Emma holds memberships and affiliations with various institutions, such as the International Coaching Federation (ICF), where they are an ICF Member. Emma is also listed on the Irish Roll of Solicitors (admitted, non-practising) by the Law Society of Ireland and is recognized as a Solicitor, England and Wales (non-practising) by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
