Surajit Das currently serves as the Product Development Head at Uno Minda since March 2024, overseeing multiple departments including Design, Tooling, Quality, Process Engineering, and Program Management. Prior to this role, Surajit held significant positions such as Business Engineering Head and Account Manager at RLE INDIA, managing key automotive accounts. With extensive experience at Ford Motor Company as a Design & Release Engineer and Product Development Engineer, Surajit also contributed to Nissan Motor Company and RLE International in various engineering roles. Additionally, early career experience includes positions at Caterpillar Inc., Precision Pipes and Profiles Co. Ltd., and Sandhar Technologies Ltd. Surajit holds two degrees in Plastics Engineering from the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology.
