Victoria Begley's work experience starts in 2018 with a Postdoctoral Fellowship at IBiS Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, where they worked until January 2019. Victoria then moved on to UCL Cancer Institute, where they worked as a Research Fellow from January 2019 to July 2022. In July 2022, Begley joined MiNA Therapeutics as a Research Scientist, contributing their expertise in RNA biology and NGS analysis to drug discovery in the rare genetic disease department. Victoria was promoted to Senior Research Scientist in January 2023 at MiNA Therapeutics, where they currently lead drug discovery efforts and manages a team of scientists.

Victoria Begley has a strong educational background in the field of molecular genetics. Victoria obtained their PhD in molecular genetics from Universidad de Sevilla, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their PhD, they completed their Msc in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from the same institution, graduating in 2014. Victoria also holds a Licenciada en biología degree from Universidad de Sevilla, which they earned between the years 2008 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Victoria obtained a certification in Statistics and R for the Life Sciences from edX in July 2015.
