Stan Pokras, PhD, MPH, CPHQ, is a seasoned professional in the fields of public health and data science, currently serving as the Clinical Science Manager at MIM Software since April 2024. Previously, Stan held multiple roles at Health Services Advisory Group, Inc. (HSAG) from May 2022 to February 2024, including Senior Data Scientist and Senior Health Services Researcher. Stan's experience at University Hospitals spanned nearly a decade, where positions included Manager of Quality Analytics, Data Team Lead, and Senior Clinical Data Analyst. Stan also completed a Cardiovascular Disease Medicine Fellowship at Dartmouth College, focusing on immunohistochemistry and angiogenesis research. Earlier in the career, Stan worked as a Research Assistant at Wolstein Research Building Cleveland Medical Center and as an Imaging Research Analyst at University Hospitals. Stan earned a Ph.D. in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Kent State University and holds a Master of Public Health from the same institution, along with a BA in Evolutionary Biology and History from Case Western Reserve University.
