Josh Hargan has worked for two companies. From 2016 to present, they have been employed at Milwaukee Direct Marketing as a Creative Services Coordinator and Copywriter. From 2013 to 2016, they were employed at Nelson's Bus Service, Inc as a School Bus Driver, where their responsibilities included transporting children safely to and from school, as well as evaluating the bus to make sure it was in good repair.

Josh Hargan completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Fort Atkinson High School from 2007 to 2010.
