Lizz A. is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Milton Academy since August 2023, Lizz also holds the position of Head Volleyball Coach at Montrose School since August 2018. Previous roles include a 7/8 Math Teacher, Math Curriculum Coordinator, Co-Director of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team, and Third Grade Teacher at Charles River School from August 2018 to August 2023. Lizz has also provided guidance as a Curriculum Advisor for the summer program EXPLO in 2018 and 2019 and taught advanced first-grade math and science at BASIS Primary Charter School as a Subject Expert Teacher from September 2017 to May 2018. Early career experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Substitute Teacher at Natick Public Schools. Lizz A. holds a Master of Education in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Brain and Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
