Andrea Giannini is a seasoned hardware engineer currently holding a position at Vorticity Inc. since July 2024 and serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Exovolar Industries since August 2020. In addition to these roles, Andrea is a member of 24SIX9 and a venture scout at Million Ventures, both since February 2023. Prior to these positions, Andrea worked as a Digital Hardware Design Engineer at Fathom Computing from August 2018 to August 2020, and as a PhD student at ETH Zurich from January to August 2018. Early in the career, Andrea gained experience as an Electronic Engineer at CERN, contributing to optoelectronic devices characterization for the TOTEM experiment in 2015. Andrea holds a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Bari.
