Joanna Choi currently works as an Actuarial Analyst at Milliman, specializing in Property & Casualty since September 2023. Previously, Joanna held two internship roles at PwC, first as a Risk Modeling Intern in the Property & Casualty division, focusing on liability trends and loss development triangles, and then as an Actuarial Intern in Reinsurance, where Joanna standardized pricing models and assessed risk scenarios related to pension plan transfers. Joanna's academic background includes dual degrees from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Music in Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Statistics track, in addition to involvement in the Actuarial Club during their studies.
