Jia Wei Chia is an Actuarial Associate at Milliman, having joined the firm in June 2022, and previously held the position of Actuarial Manager at EY from August 2016 to March 2022. During the tenure at EY, Jia Wei Chia specialized in IFRS17 implementation, Prophet modeling, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and audits, progressing through multiple roles from Associate to Senior Associate and Manager. An earlier experience as an Actuarial Intern at Milliman and CUNA Mutual Group provided foundational skills in actuarial practices. Jia Wei Chia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
