Deana Bell is a Principal & Consulting Actuary at Milliman, a position held since May 2005, where responsibilities include serving as a certifying actuary for Medicare Advantage bids and acting as the Appointed Actuary for various health plans. Deana leads multiple consulting teams to execute routine and ad hoc projects. Previous experience includes roles as a Consulting Actuary, Actuary, and Actuarial Analyst at Milliman, as well as an Actuarial Intern at M Financial Group, where Deana focused on financial reporting tasks involving life insurance policies. Deana holds a BA in Mathematics from Lewis & Clark College and has completed coursework in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science at Portland State University.
