Youngon Lee is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Astra since April 2022, previously serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Precision Castparts from January 2018 to April 2022. At Precision Castparts, responsibilities included designing and modifying fixtures and tools using CAD software such as NX and SolidWorks, as well as addressing non-conforming parts through root cause analysis and corrective action. Prior experience includes serving as Simulation Lead for UCI HyperXite during the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition from June 2017 to July 2018, where Youngon Lee ran structural simulations using Ansys to assess stress, deformation, and safety factors in pod design, and conducted simulations on composite materials. Youngon Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, earned between 2016 and 2019.
