Hugo Maldonado is an experienced financial professional specializing in systematic trading strategies with a focus on macro assets, particularly in the futures and foreign exchange markets. Currently serving as a Systematic Short Term Macro trader at Millennium since July 2024, Hugo previously held positions at Man AHL as a Quantitative Researcher for fast trading strategies and at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director, leading a team to develop fully automated trading strategies in commodities. Prior roles include developing commodity systematic trading strategies at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and participating in the Global Markets Graduate Program at Nomura. Hugo holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance, both from Università Bocconi.
