Joan Stafslien is an experienced legal executive and board member with a strong background in the healthcare and medical device industries. Currently serving as a Board Member for Ra Medical Systems and Millennium Health, Joan has held various significant positions including Executive Vice President and General Counsel at NuVasive, where responsibilities included managing legal functions related to commercial support, intellectual property, and M&A. Previous roles include leadership as EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at CareFusion, as well as SVP & General Counsel at Cardinal Health. Joan's career also features positions at Alaris Medical Systems and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, among others. Joan Stafslien holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
