Melissa Austin, AIAM, is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and client management. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter and Underwriting Assistant Supervisor at Orchid Insurance since April 2014, Melissa has previously held the position of Client Manager for Personal Lines at WTW - Willis Personal Lines from August 2003 to April 2014. Prior to their career in insurance, Melissa worked at Phillips Van Heusen Corporation from 1989 to 2003 as a Regional Training Manager, Store Manager, and Site Manager. Melissa holds an Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Indian River State College and has pursued further education at Florida Atlantic University, following completion of studies at Vero Beach High School.
