Steve Dunn is an experienced mediator and arbitrator, currently serving as a Neutral at Miles Mediation & Arbitration since April 2020, specializing in complex business and employment disputes. Previously, Steve owned and operated Steve Dunn Mediation from June 2019 to April 2020, also focusing on similar legal matters. As a partner at Van Hoy, Reutlinger, Adams & Dunn from August 1998 to June 2019, representation was provided to companies and local governments in business and employment cases. In addition to legal practice, Steve contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor of Employment Law at Charlotte School of Law from August 2012 to June 2015. Steve’s background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Earlier in the career, Steve was also a trumpet player with The Castaways from January 1996 to June 1998.
