Carlos Sola is an accomplished Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and production management across various sectors. Currently serving as Director Técnico at GRUPO MIGASA since July 2018, Carlos oversees engineering and maintenance at Refinería Migasa Aceites Dos Hermanas. Previous roles include Site Planner PV at PRODIEL, Manufacturing Engineer Leader at Persán, and Senior Process Development Engineer at Abengoa Bioenergy New Technology, where Carlos contributed to the development of innovative waste-to-biofuel technologies. Additionally, as Head of Engineering and Production at Bioorganic Research and Services (Bionaturis), Carlos played a key role in facility design and compliance with European Good Manufacturing Practices. Education includes a Chemical Engineering degree from Universidad de Cádiz and relevant internships at The University of Manchester and Universidad de Cádiz. Carlos also completed training in basic occupational hazard prevention in the chemical sector.
