Kalindi Bakshi, Ph.D., currently serves as the Economic Development Specialist for Food & Beverage Innovation at Middlesex County, NJ, since August 2023. In addition, Kalindi founded and leads Sattvika LLC, achieving a remarkable 500% revenue increase by leveraging expertise in plant-based and ethnic cuisine along with plant-based nutrition. Previously, Kalindi held the position of Assistant Medical Professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at CUNY School of Medicine, where responsibilities included teaching and supervising students in research settings. Earlier experience includes a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Health System. Kalindi holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience from The City University of New York and a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
