Mitch Goldman was the most recent CEO of Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners – started in 2016 and at the time of his departure supported 237 dental practices in 17 states. As a successful health care entrepreneur, he brought his strategic vision and health care innovation experience to the redesigning of the delivery and management of community dental services.
Prior to starting Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners, Mr. Goldman was a nationally ranked health care transactional and regulatory lawyer. Throughout his professional career, he developed new health care services including an innovative medical malpractice insurance company. He has worked in almost every part of the health care industry including recently advising health care entrepreneurs in mobile health, accountable care organizations, dental support organizations, dental practice acquisitions and dental supply companies. During the passage of the Affordable Care Act, Mr. Goldman was actively involved in advising several United States Senators on key aspects of the law. He was the subject of an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer as a thought leader in the field. He also hosted a regular radio show on the Business of Healthcare on Business Radio Powered by Wharton on SiriusXM channel 111. He was an adjunct professor of health care law teaching health care finance at the Widener School of Law and at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
He is also currently a member of the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, the Professional Advisory Board of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and was recently elected the Vice President of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (“ADSO”).
