Aung Maung has over 36 years of extensive experience in the technology sector, primarily with Microsoft since 2000, currently serving as the Regional Lead for Microsoft Tech for Social Impact in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Aung leads a team focused on delivering software and cloud solutions to non-profit organizations. Previous positions at Microsoft include acting Country General Manager for Vietnam and Director of the Enterprise and Partner Group, overseeing significant business sectors. Prior to Microsoft, Aung worked at IBM in various roles, including Sales Executive and Lead System Engineer, where responsibilities included managing sales teams and implementing technology strategies for the Australian Federal Government. Aung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Australian National University.
