Hao Ren is an experienced technology professional in the field of SSD firmware development, currently serving as a Tech Lead at Microsemi Corporation since June 2018. Prior to this role, Hao managed an NVME SSD firmware development team at CNEX Labs, Inc. from May 2015 to May 2018, focusing on key areas such as FTL, recycling, garbage collection, NAND media, and error handling. From April 2010 to May 2015, Hao worked at Micron Technology as a Senior SSD Firmware Engineer and Firmware Engineer Supervisor, specializing in SSD data flow firmware design and debugging across various protocols including SATA, BM, and NAND. Educationally, Hao holds a Master's degree in Computer Vision Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Shanghai University, completed between 2004 and 2011.
