Yong Yao Hong currently serves in Global Energy Procurement (APAC) at Micron Technology, focusing on energy strategy and negotiation since October 2019. Previously, Yong held the position of Regional Supplier Manager at Micron Taiwan and worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N), where comprehensive market research addressed the impact of Malaysia's sugar tax on the beverage industry. Earlier professional experience includes a Procurement Intern role at Air Liquide, where cost analysis and supplier negotiations enhanced operational efficiency. Yong holds a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, supplemented by various credentials from Harvard Business School Online, including a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery and the CORe Credential of Readiness, and participated in an overseas exchange program in Chemical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University.
