Rishi Kaashyap Balaji is a seasoned professional with a strong background in decision science, systems engineering, and operations management. Currently serving as a Decision Scientist at Micron Technology, Rishi previously held significant roles such as Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and Graduate Researcher at the Process-Energy-Environmental Systems Engineering (PEESE) Lab, where expertise in multi-period Mixed Integer Non-Linear Programming (MINLP) models was honed. Rishi's prior experience includes an Assistant Manager position at AkzoNobel, leading a 35-member production team while spearheading operational excellence initiatives that resulted in substantial performance improvements. Rishi has also participated in various engineering and research roles, including internships at Technische Universität Berlin and Indian Institute of Science, contributing to projects in process dynamics and biomaterials.
