Ivaylo Strandjev is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Microblink since November 2022, Ivaylo previously held various leadership positions at Hyperscience from February 2016 to July 2022, culminating in the role of Senior Director of Machine Learning. In addition to this, Ivaylo has provided advisory services at Colibra from October 2018 to October 2019 and worked at VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff from February 2012 to February 2016. Early career experiences include software engineering internships at Google and development roles at Everbread Limited and Astea Solutions AD. Ivaylo holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, both from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, as well as a strong foundational education from Sofia Highschool of Mathematics.
