Shlagha Borah currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University since August 2024, and is a co-founder of Pink Freud, an organization dedicated to Mental Health Awareness. Borah has held various editorial and writing positions, including Associate Poetry Editor at Doubleback Review and Content Writer for Terribly Tiny Tales, with experience in previous roles at Stanza Living, Arata, KATHA, and SHE FOR CHANGE. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College For Women. Early education was completed at Don Bosco School, Panbazar, with a focus on Humanities.
