Fauziya Ado Yakasai, Ph.D., currently serves as an Academic Specialist of Data Science at Michigan State University since August 2024. Previously, Fauziya worked as a Data Science Consultant at CG Global Management Solutions, LLC, and held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher-Data Scientist at York University. In earlier roles, Fauziya was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University, a Data Scientist at CG Global Management Solutions, LLC, and a Lecturer at Bayero University Kano, where teaching focused on Mathematics courses. Early career experience includes providing IT support to the Nigerian Port Authority as an IT Support Specialist and teaching Oracle database at the Nest Trust Institute of Information Technology. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and several master's degrees in related fields from Auburn University and the African University of Science and Technology, as well as a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Bayero University.
