Adam Alessio is a Professor at Michigan State University since October 2018, contributing to programs in Computational Mathematics Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Radiology, and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science & Engineering. Prior to this role, Adam served at the University of Washington from September 2003 to October 2018 as a Professor and Research Associate Professor, focusing on cardiac perfusion imaging and tomographic image reconstruction, with a strong emphasis on statistical issues in data management. Adam's earlier positions include Senior Fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine and Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame. Adam holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering (2003), an MSEE (2001), and a BS in Electrical Engineering (1998), all from the University of Notre Dame.
