Jennifer M. Rigterink currently serves as Assistant Director of State & Federal Affairs at the Michigan Municipal League, a role held since April 2016, following a position as Legislative Associate. Prior experience includes managerial roles at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, overseeing Technical Assistance Programs and Redevelopment Ready Communities, as well as serving as CDBG Program Specialist. Jennifer has also worked as a consultant for the Michigan Association of Land Banks and the Ingham County Land Bank Authority, where responsibilities included coordinating the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Earlier in Jennifer's career, from 2005 to 2009, the role of Program Director at the Genesee Institute involved working with local governments and nonprofits on land reform strategies. Jennifer M. Rigterink earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Planning from Michigan State University in 2005.
